Another snazzy and impressive bottling from Bottega
This rosé processo has been produced using pinot noir grapes from the Lombardy region of North West Italy.
The grapes are hand picked, and slowly fermented at a controlled temperature of 18Co. The must is in contact with the grape skins for at least 24 hours, before juice and skin is separated with a soft press. A second fermentation in steel containers is then performed, creating this delightful sparkling wine.
The result is a prosecco that pours a blush peach colour, with a fine and persistent perlage. The wine offers up notes of fresh flowers, subtle red berries (strawberries and raisins), white peach, green apples, pears and some citrus acidity.
The wine is light-bodied and drinkable, and would pair well with lamb or seafood.
