Auchentoshan Sauvignon Blanc Finish

A fascinating cask finish from Lowland distillery Auchentoshan.

This triple distilled single malt has been finished in casks that have previously held Sauvignon Blanc, bringing together the twin worlds of whisky and wine.

Auchentoshan’s light, floral spirit is perfectly suited to the gentle citrus fruit, slightly acidic grape and fresh apple flavours of the Sauvignon Blanc casks.

This dram offers notes of light peppery spice, grapes, floral honey, gentle malt, vanilla, soft oak, grassy hay, peaches in syrup, apples, lemon rind and cream.

Delicious spirit - bottled at 47% ABV for a little more warmth and body.
