“Etichetta Nera” translates as Black Label, and this bottling is one of the most popular brandies in the spirit’s home nation.
The brandy is made with Trabbiano grapes (the same variety is called Ugni Blanc in France, and is traditionally used in the Cognac industry) and is distilled in a traditional copper Charentais pot still, in the French style. The spirit is aged in small oak casks for three years.
A light brandy with a deep flavour, this bottling offers flavours of dark grapes, pressed flowers, mixed spice (cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg), restrained oak, dark chocolate, grapes, black liquorice, and toffee.
The bottling is well known for its dimpled, three-sided bottle and Bacchian logo.
A perfect option for a cafe corretto.
Very smooth
