A bigger bottling of this unusual, Canadian gin. The bottling is now one of the bestselling gins made in Canada.
The gin is made with six botanicals, many of which are sourced within Canada: Nordic juniper, arctic blend, cloudberry, crowberry, Labrador tea and wild rose hip. These are seeped in the spirit, giving it its distinctive Suze-like colour.
This gin serves up, hot spicy flavours of peppery juniper and rosehip, followed by fruitier crowberry and cloudberry notes, and a little herbal edge from the Labrador Tea.
Ungava is named after the peninsula found at the northern extreme of Quebec, a unique environment, where many of the botanicals used are grown.
This gin makes a striking gin and tonic, due to its aged-white-wine colour. A really interesting offering from the Great White North.
