A high quality Japanese whisky produced by the Kurayoshi company.

This is a single malt, which has been made using natural water from the nearby volcano Mount Daisen. The spirit has been aged in Mizunara oak, the rare and notoriously difficult to work with Japanese wood.

The whisky itself serves up notes of creamy coconut (a classic Mizunara feature), warm oak with cinnamon and nutmeg spice, toffee, ginger, vanilla pod, pressed flowers, and sweet malt.

The bottle’s label features another famous Japanese volcano, with a stylised version of Katsushika Hokusai’s Thirsty Six Views of Mount Fuji adorning this dram.
