The 2014 instalment of Talisker’s esteemed “Distiller”s Edition’ series, this marvellous whisky is finished in Amaroso sherry casks. Talisker Distiller’s Edition 2014 retains the distillery’s classic profile of smoke, citrus and pepper, but adds soft sherry notes of dried fruit and wine. This whisky has been aged for eleven years, and is a wonderful example of the effects of sherry maturation on a smoky, coastal dram. For any “Tallie” fans, this is a must try expression from the Skye distillery.
