A gin made by the wonderful bourbon distillers, and named after the home of the distillery, the Greenbrier hills. This gin is designed to reflect the smoothness of the distillery’s name, with a rich intensity, but with a soft, opulent mouthfeel. This is gained from the gin’s base of White Whiskey, with a mashbill of 68% corn, 16% wheat and 16% malted barley. The gin puts citrus at the forefront, with lovely flavours of black pepper and bittersweet juniper accompanying. It avoids some of the polarising piney flavours found in London Dry gins. The citrus nature of this gin makes it ideal for cocktails such as the Pegu Club, White Lady and Tom Collins. The gin was awarded 91/100 by American Craft Spirits, 94/100 by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, who also named it one of the top 50 spirits of 2012.
