A new release from Dufftown distillery, this was originally designed for the travel retail market, hence the 1 litre bottle size. This whisky takes Dufftown’s typical light and honeyed Speyside whisky and finishes it in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, adding a wonderfully sweet layer of complexity, with highlights of plump raisins, fruit cake, apple pie and cinnamon spice. The whisky is charmingly presented in a smart wood-effect tube and Dufftown’s iconic flatter bottle shape. A lovely dessert dram, and great value considering the larger bottle.
