This bottling offers up a juicy, fruity style of gin. Sikkim Fraise uses strawberries (as the name suggests) and cranberries in the botanical recipe to create a sweeter, more approachable spirit.
The other crucial botanicals used are juniper, coriander, red tea (from the northern Indian state of Sikkim), wild strawberries & bitter orange skin. The result is a delicious gin, well balanced with juniper and tea offering a bittering counterpoint to the sweetness of the strawberries and cranberries.
Fruity throughout, this would be perfect for sweeter cocktails, but is delicious served with rose tonic and garnished with a handful of strawberries.
