An unusual, and rather brilliant, coffee flavoured liqueur from the world famous Patrón Tequila producer.

Most coffee liqueurs are made with a neutral spirit, but this bottling uses a base of silver Tequila, which gives a unique, somewhat verdant quality to this bottling.

The liqueur serves up notes of fresh roasted coffee, dark chocolate, earthy spice, vanilla, gentle chilli, succulent agave, lime rind, black pepper, a touch of vanilla and a little brown sugar. Patrón XO Café is drier than most coffee liqueurs, and the Tequila base really does add a different dimension here.

Patrón XO Café is visually striking, presented in Patrón’s distinctive squat bottle, with a deep, almost black, colour.

Makes a superb, characterful Espresso Martini.
