A wonderful white rum from the extremely popular Venezuelan rum company, Pampero. Pampero was first founded in 1938, and has produced high quality rum ever since. This thick, creamy and sweet white rum is a fantastic example. This rum has been aged for 2 years, giving it a little complexity and maturity than most white rums. The nose on this rum serves up clean aromas of molasses, white sugar, caramel and vanilla. The palate follows suit, adding a little more oaky flavours, with hints of toffee, flowers, butter and fresh cream. The finish is short and sweet, with a little heat. This is one of those rare white rums that you can drink neat, though it is perfect for mixing.
