A remarkable, one of a kind 1976 vintage Cognac from Normandin-Mercier.

Made using exclusively Petite Champagne grapes from the 1976, this spirit was bottled in 2016, with a final age of 40 years. The eau-de-vie was aged in wood from the Tronçais forest.

1976 was famed for its hot, dry vintage, producing grapes with an intensely concentrated flavour.

The final product is an aromatic and powerful Cognac of a rare quality. Expect notes of almonds, walnuts, toffee’d popcorn, subtle salted caramel, cinnamon, flowers, dried fruits, sweet wine, pressed flowers, orange rind, dried pineapple and old, dusty oak.

Just 896 bottles of this vintage spirit were produced.
