Another fine 10 year old from Gordon and MacPhail, this time round it is a classic Speysider from Miltonduff, found in Mosstowie just outside of Elgin (not far from the G&M headquarters!).

Highly prized by blenders for its floral character, Miltonduff spirit has long been used to add brightening notes to the famous Ballantine’s blend.

This whisky has been aged for 10 years in refill sherry casks, resulting in a delightful, succulent dram with a restrained oak influence.

Drinkers can expect notes of pot pourri, honeysuckle, dried fruit, spice, light sweet wine, vanilla and oak.

A lovely, elegant Speysider, and superb value for money.
