An excellent bottling of Greece’s best known spirit, which has been in production since the 1880s.

Mextaxa is produced by using muscat wine to dilute a strong brandy, before a selection of botanicals and flowers are added to create a striking flavour profile.

This 7 star brandy is two years older than the 5 star, with each star representing a year of maturation. This means the spirit is a little more complex and dignified, offering flavours of old oak, toffee, vanilla, grapes, flowers, liquorice, cinnamon, nutmeg and berries.

Amphora is named after the ancient Greek vessel used to store wine, which is recalled by the bottle’s design.
