The big brother of the world famous coconut liqueur.

This Black bottling, originally released for the travel retail market, presented the classic Malibu combination of natural coconut flavours and Bajan rum at the higher strength of 35% ABV, and with a little less sweetness. This rum also appears to have been aged, as it is not crystal clear like the original.

The result is a bolder version of liqueur, with powerful notes of oaky spice, bananas, tropical fruit, sweet desiccated coconut, a little coconut milk, brown sugar, and cracked pepper.

Less sweet, whilst remaining approachable and avoiding bitterness, this liqueur would make a great base for beachy cocktails.
