This is a small batch straight rye whiskey from the Jim Beam distillery, bottled at 100 proof and “aged patiently” in deeply charred, American new oak barrels. While Beam isn’t known for producing rye whiskies, this most excellent expression of Knob Creek is a clear testament to their ability to make both excellent bourbon and rye. This rye whiskey is very versatile, and is fantastic both in cocktails, on the rocks, or neat. However you enjoy it, we’re sure it won’t disappoint.
