A miniature of this cracking Irish single malt from the Knappogue Castle range.

Kanppaogue Castle takes its name from a tower house found in the parish of Quin, County Clare, in Ireland’s South West.

This whiskey has been aged in a combination of former Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, and sits as a step up from the 12 year old in the Knappogue range.

The final result is a rich, crisp Irish single malt with notes of plums, apricot, vanilla, biscuits, apples, dried fruit, citrus zest, charred oak, malt and milk chocolate.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration, this is a high quality offering.
