Ketel One is one of very few vodkas to be produced entirely in a pot still. The vodka is distilled from 100% wheat in copper pot stills, and indeed, it takes its name from the original still that produced it – “Distilleerketel #1”. Ketel One is made at the Nolet Distillery in Schiedam, famous for its iconic windmill and one of the oldest distilleries in the world.

As pot stills produce a spirit a little less pure than column stills, this vodka is a lot more characterful than the average – with subtle notes of lemon zest, toffee, herbs and honey. The mouthfeel is also noticeably thicker than most vodkas.

A wonderful way of adding depth and body to any vodka cocktail, Ketel One is also delicious served neat straight from the freezer, when it becomes viscous and satisfying.
