Kavalan are perhaps better known for their wine and sherry cask solist offerings. This Bourbon cask bottling shows their spirit in a different light.

Matured in the tropical heat of Taiwan, this is a dram packed full of flavour, despite its maturation in a traditionally lighter style of cask.

The spirit has soaked up all the flavours of the wood, serving up wave after wave of woodspice, tropical fruit and vanilla flavours. Notes of bright toffee and corn emerge after a while, accompanied by orchard fruits, toasted coconut, milk chocolate and bananas.

A really delicious dram that will turn even the most hardened sherry-bomb fan onto the joys of a good Bourbon cask. Bottled at 46% ABV and without artificial colouration or chill filtration, this is an intense tasting experience.
