Another superb entry to the Explorer’s Club Collection, which celebrates Johnnie Walker’s storied history of travel across the globe. This particular dram is inspired by the sights, sounds, smells, and (most importantly) flavours, of the ancient spice trade routes. These routes would pass through Persia, India and China, absorbing culture and flavours as they went. In their later history, representatives of Johnnie Walker would use these routes to sell their spirits to the world. Fittingly, this is a spritely, clean and spicy blend, with delicious notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, almonds, anise, cloves and toasted oak. An adventurous and compelling whisky.
