Aficionados x Fine Drams Lot 70 is a very old Cognac bottled by Jean-Luc Pasquet from the village of Criteuil in the Grande Champagne region. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.1% ABV, this cask impressed the tasting panel with balsamic vinegar, spices, acidic fruits and a thick unctuous mouthfeel. As it opens up, sandalwood and oaky tannins come forward to provide solid structure. Selected blind by a panel from the Aficionados Discord server, this single cask is sure to please spice lovers.
