A rebrand of Appleton Special Jamaican rum (Wray own the Appleton estate), with a slightly tweaked recipe.

J. Wray is better known for their overproof, unaged rum, but this offering is lightly cask aged. The golden rum is distilled from molasses in a mixture of pot and column stills.

J Wray Gold delivers flavours of light citrus, overripe bananas, vanilla, flowers, apples, molasses, dates, apricot and slight dates.

Great for mixing in cocktails or long drinks, this lends some tasty tropical Jamaican funk to any drink.
