A limited edition version of Martinique distillery J. Bally’s Vieux Rhum Agricole, featuring a striking art deco design on the label.
The design is inspired by the 1920s era, when distiller Jacques Bally first began to produce vintage and aged rums.
This spirit has been produced at the Saint-James distillery, and contains distillate from the 1999, 2006 and 2007 vintages. The rum was distilled in a traditional Creole column still.
The end result is an oaky and dignified frum, with notes of grapefruit rind, caramelised sugar cane, vanilla, milk chocolate, sandalwood, coconut flakes, oak, blonde tobacco and dried fruits.
Only 3,000 bottles were produced worldwide. This would make for a wonderful addition to any rum collection.
