Another excellent addition to this range of blends, first launched in way back in the 1920s. The blend initially tried to replicate a special blend of Scotches first served up at the Lord Margadale’s 21st Birthday celebrations, but it has outgrown that scope now. This Islay Mist offering is a little different to the others, in that it emphasises the peat smoke even further, introducing more of the classic Islay malts to the blend, to create a dram that is less an Islay Mist and more a peaty fog! This whisky bombards the senses with layers of caramel, charred oak, earthy peat smoke, ash, and cigar smoke. A luxurious and delicious whisky that will appeal to the smokeheads out there!
