Sitting at the top of Hennessey’s range, Paradis contains some of the oldest spirit in the famous Cognac House’s reserves.
The bottling is named after a specially guarded section in the Hennessy cellars, which contains the very rarest and oldest Cognacs in the estate. This bottling was first created in 1979, and it contains a blend of over 100 eaux-de-vie, some of which are said to be the “greatest” of their generation. Paradis was the brain child of Master Blender Maurice Fillioux, who used some spirit distilled by his grandfather in the production of this Cognac.
The final result is an incredibly sumptuous Cognac, with notes of dark walnut, gingerbread, black tea, tobacco, chocolate, vanilla custard, verbena and honeysuckle, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, spiced apple, Pedro Ximenez sherry, old oak, citrus peel, marshmallow, rancio and dried fruit.
One of the finest Cognacs on the market today, Paradis is beautifully presented in a decanter style bottle.
