Said to have been inspired by a rediscovered bottle of Hankey Bannister from the 1920s, this bottling is a throw-back to the heyday of blended Scotch whisky.

The whisky was recreated by Inver House’s Master Distiller, Stuart Harvey, using existing modern day spirit stocks.

The final blend offers notes of smoked caramel, chocolate covered raisins, nutmeg, peated grain, honey on malt toast, vanilla, cinnamon and orange zest.

Both sweeter and smokier than the modern version of the famous blended whisky, this is a dram that will attract the attention of the budding whisky historian (whisktorian?).

The Heritage Blend is presented at 46%, and with a label inspired by that of the 1920’s original.
