A lovely wine cask whisky produced by Belgian brewery and distillery Het Anker for their Gouden Carolus range.

This single malt is made with a mash of fine Belgian beer brewed by Het Anker, and distilled in traditional copper pot stills. The whisky has then been aged in American oak Madeira wine barrels.

The final product is a sweet, luscious and fruity single malt, with notes of peaches, pears, apples, sweet grapes, vanilla, thick malted barley, sweet beer, toffee, tannic oak, hazelnuts and flowers.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or artificial colouration, this is a well balanced whisky that will appeal to beer lovers.
