An excellent single malt whisky from Speyside’s famous Glenfiddich distillery.

This dram has been aged in Solera vat system, meaning that only half of the whisky in the huge cask is bottled before it is refilled – ensuring incredible consistency of flavour.

For this bottling, maturation was performed European oak sherry and Bourbon barrels, which are later combined in the Solera vat.

The end result is a wonderfully rich whisky, with notes of heather honey, vanilla, plums, sweet malt, cherries, prunes, sultanas, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, some oak shavings, cloves, orange rind, nutty sherry, milk chocolate and leather.

Bottled at 50.2% ABV, this is a well-made, medium bodied dram.
