This whisky was first launched back in 2010, and has gained many fans since. Rich Oak is aged initially in former Bourbon barrels for 14 years, before being finished – not once, but twice!

Indeed, the spirit undergoes one finish of 12 weeks in virgin European oak casks, and a second of six weeks in new American oak barrels. This injects a massive oaky flavour in to the whisky, giving rise to the name “Rich Oak”.

This oaky quality works wonderfully with the classic Glenfiddich profile of warm barley and orchard fruits.
