A German Gin with an African heart (does not contain any elephants)! This is a gin distilled in Germany, but using African botanicals. Buchu plant, African Wormwood, Baobab and the extraordinarily named Devil’s Claw all make an appearance! The gin is clearly designed to recall the age of adventure now passed, with an explorer’s map on the label, a flask-style bottle and a string-wrapped cork stopper. Not only is this a delicious, complex gin, but it is one with a moral compass. 15% of all Elephant Gin profits go to not one, but two African elephant conservation charities: Space for Elephants and Big Life. These foundations work hard to provide and protect habitats for elephants by supporting rangers against poachers and educating local communities about elephant conservation.
