A lovely single cask single malt from Craigellachie Distillery, bottled by Van Wees’s acclaimed Ultimate Whisky Company.

This dram was distilled on the 23rd of June 2009 and matured for 13 years in a single first fill Bourbon barrel before being bottled in 2022.

An excellent example of Craigellachie’s famous ‘meaty’ spirit, this dram offers notes of thick malty biscuits, stewed orchard fruits, pineapple, freshly baked cornbread, toffee, powdered ginger, oak, green apples, cinnamon, cloves and toasted nuts.

This is a complex and full-bodied whisky that perfectly balances the characters of the cask and the spirit.
