Something you don’t see everyday, a gin from Estonia! This fine, aromatic and fragrant gin is produced by the Liviko company, which was founded in 1898.
Distilled in copper pot stills from 12 botanicals, including rose hip and meadowsweet, both found on the Estonian coastline. Yuzu and juniper is also present, making for a floral and citrusy gin.
The result is a bright gin, with notes of grapefruit, lemon, piney juniper, sweet flowers, soft fruits and slight herbs.
The gin is copper coloured, but the addition of rosehip flowers means that the spirit changes to a rosy pink when mixed with tonic.
Crafter’s Aromatic Flower Gin is bottled at 44.3% ABV, giving it a little more body and power.
A delightful little bottling, complex and subtle.
