First created at the start of the 20th century, this 12 year old blended whisky is said to contain a higher proportion of malt spirit than many blends. Indeed, the bottling is based around a core of malt whisky from Strathisla distillery, known as the home of Chivas Bros.

Chivas Regal serves up notes of zesty lemon curd, vanilla, barley, cereal sweetness, caramel, toasted nuts, flowers, pepper, spiced chocolate, a touch of smoke and light oak.

Once described by F. Paul Pacult as a blend “for grown-ups”, Chivas Regal ticks all the boxes required of a high quality blended whisky.
