A striking, intriguing spirit from Chateau du Tariquet. Essentially an unaged Armagnac, this bottling is named Blanche both because of its colour, and after the Folle Blanche grape variety used to create it. Folle Blanche is renowned for being one of the most delicious grapes for Armagnac, but also one of the most difficult to grow. This bottling was first launched in 2006, and has captivated the imaginations of bartenders around the world ever since as unique ingredient to use in all manner of drinks. The spirit has a fresh, orchard fruit clarity of flavor, with a slight grassy pungency and a distinctive peppery finish. A fascinating spirit to sip, it really comes to life when used as an alternative base in cocktails.
