A superb bottling of Caol Ila from Gordon & MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice range, bottled for the Pot Still Festival of 2022 in the Netherlands.

This dram, which is peated in the typical Caol Ila style, has been matured for 13 years in a single Refill American Hogshead.

This is a whisky that offers notes of smoked peaches, and floral honey, cured meats, vanilla, pepper, smouldering oak, dark chocolate, lemon rind, sea spray, and chilli spice.

The spirit has been bottled at 57.7% ABV, ensuring a full mouthfeel and intense flavour profile.

Just 262 bottles were produced.
