The “Classic Malts” Coastal collection contain 3 bottles in the nifty size 0f 20 cl, from three coastal distilleries. First up we have the Caol Ila 12 year Old, a well-known classic, showing a great marriage of peat and saltiness. Next up, we have the Clynelish 14 Year Old, an unpeated whisky with plenty of maritime qualities. Last but not least, we have the Talisker 10 Year Old, the whisky that is the very definition of “coastal”. This is surely a lovely set of malts, perfect for exploring coastal qualities in three widely different whiskies.
