This excellent Canadian Club has fully double the age of the standard release: adding an extra 6 in oak casks, bringing it to 12 overall. First established in 1858, this whisky has been at the top of the Canadian whisky scene for decades, and with quality releases such as this bottling, it is easy to see why. The extra maturation gives this classic dram another dimension, with richer oaky fruit flavours accompanying the spicier rye and zinging grain notes perfectly.
