A 95% Rye whiskey from the enormously popular Bulleit brand. First released in 2011, this offering has gone from strength to strength, with its profile and popularity on the rise.

The remaining 5% of this whiskey’s mashbill is made up with malted barley, providing a little body, and some chewy cereal notes that take the edge off the spice.

Drinkers should expect notes of grassy cereals, fresh berries and stone fruit, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove), some light herbs, coffee, zest, tinned peaches and vanilla, with a little barrel char and smoky oak.

The flavours and body of this dram are boosted by the 45% ABV bottling strength.

A great value small batch whiskey that is excellent in cocktails.
