Still made to the original recipe developed founder James Burroughs in 1820, Beefeater is one of the gins that defines the London dry style.

With its yeomen mascot and London based distillery, Beefeater seems to encapsulate the spiritual home of gin.

Made with a base of 100% grain spirit, this gin is flavoured with nine different botanicals: juniper, angelica root, angelica seeds, liquorice, almond, orris root, Seville oranges, coriander seeds and lemon peel. A long maceration is used to ensure that the full range of flavours is captured from the botanicals. Distillation is also lengthy, taking about 8 hours.

The final result is a bold, crisp and citrussy gin with subtle spice notes and a bone dry, juniper-led profile.

A benchmark for a reason, this makes a superb martini.
