A recent addition to the stalwart gin brand’s range, which won instant praise and is a favourite of bartenders across the world. When tasked with creating a new gin for the familiar and quintessential London gin company, Master Distiller Desmond Payne had to be both classic and creative. For possibly the most British of spirits, he turned to that most British of hot drinks: Tea! Households up and down the British Isles have been making botanical infusions with this herb for centuries, and Payne applied the same principle to his gin, steeping his spirit with two types of tea- Japanese Sencha Tea and Chinese green tea! Alongside ten other ingredients: lemon peel, juniper, coriander, almond, orris root, liquorice, angelica root, Seville orange peel, grapefruit peel and coriander. The gin takes its name from the 24 hours that these 12 botanicals spend steeping in the spirit. A truly lovely gin, with a nice balance of herbaceous flavours, citrus and sweetness.
