A well aged small batch single malt whisky from Ballechin, Edradour’s peated series.
This 2005 vintage whisky has been aged in eight first-fill Burgundy hogsheads for 17 years, resulting in a luscious and rich final product.
Drinkers should expect wonderfully thick notes of blackberry jam, chocolate-covered caramels, freshly roasted coffee, orange rind, sweet red grapes, toasted nuts, dates in syrup, subtle peat smoke, charred oak, wood smoke, raisins, cinnamon, cloves, leather and nutmeg.
Bottled at a batch strength of 53.5% ABV, this a full bodied and flavoursome dram.
