This is a 20 cl bottling of the Edradour-distilled peated whisky known as Ballechin. This 10 year old single malt features whiskies aged in both bourbon and sherry casks, lending both vanilla and red fruits to the moderately heavily peated Ballechin spirit. For a distillery producing only around 12 barrels a week, it’s delightful to see experiments such as this.
