A 12 year old bottling from Balbair, who revamped their range in 2019.

Gone are the previously distinctive vintage labels, whilst age statements make their return.

This dram has been aged for 12 years in American oak casks, with some former Bourbon barrels and some double-fired.

The result is a fresh and supple whisky which shows off Balblair’s sharp and fruity style. Drinkers can expect notes of orange peel, lemon and grapefruit juice, apricots, white peaches, cedarwood, nutmeg, red apples, honey, crisp malt, soft spices and creamy toffee.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is an excellent entry level dram from the Highland distillery.
