A remarkably well aged single cask whisky from Auchroisk distillery, bottled by Signatory Vintage for their Cask Strength Collection.

This 1996 vintage has been aged for no less than 26 years – initially in Hogheads, before being re-racked into a Fresh Sherry Butt for the final 65 months.

After such a long maturation, this whisky has developed incredible depth of flavour and complexity.

Drinkers should expect decadent flavours of plums, cherries, blueberries, jammy strawberries, chocolate covered raisins, caramel, pepper, port wine, coffee, cinnamon, cloves, leather, old oak and brown sugar.

Beautifully balanced and well-bodied at 48.7% ABV.
