A big bottling of Smoketrails, a limited edition whisky released for Ardbeg’s first-ever travel retail exclusive collection.

This spirit was aged initially in American oak casks, before undergoing a secondary maturation in Manzanilla Sherry casks from the Sanlúcar de Barrameda bodega, located on the Spanish Atlantic coast. The dry, maritime nature of this wine is the perfect match for Ardbeg’s salty and smoky Islay style.

Drinkers should expect notes of toasted brazil nuts, sooty wood smoke, thick peat, dry white grape, vanilla, liquorice, pine resin, charred oak, dark chocolate, salt, walnuts, toffee apples and lemon rind.

A subtler style of sherried Scotch, this dram perfectly balances sweet and savoury.
