A feisty little whisky released by Ardbeg in 2020.

The Wee Beastie is a youthful dram, having been aged for five years in a combination of Bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks.

The result is a fresh, aggressive Ardbeg whisky which serves up notes of apple, pear, smoked meats, herbal peat, liquorice, leather, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, sweet malt, oat cakes, spicy black pepper and some forest floor piney notes.

Bottled at 47.4% ABV and without chill filtration, this dram is a great chance to taste Ardbeg’s spirit untampered and untamed by the restraining forces of maturation.

A belter, presented in a beastly designed bottle, complete with red top and scratch marks.
