A gin from the Arbikie Highland Estate distillery, which is based in a family owned farm, and set up by a group of brothers. The family have been based at the site since the 1920’s. The gin is named after the father of the brothers, Alexander Kirkwood Sterling, or AK for short! This spirit is produced using wheat and honey farmed onsite at Arbikie. To this spirit is added juniper, cardamom, black pepper and mace. This is a seriously spicy and earthy gin, great for adding a little punch to cocktails. Arbikie bottle onsite, meaning that the gin is mostly a single-estate production. Excellent stuff from an impressive new distillery.
