A ridiculously high quality Panamanian rum from Zafra.
“Zafra” is the name given to the sugar cane harvest in Spainish speaking regions.
This rum has been blended by a former Meastro Ronero (Master of Rum) for Havana Club – so the standard is high.
Zafra 21 is distilled in column stills. This rum has been aged in former Bourbon barrels for 21 years, producing a rich and complex rum.
The botlting offers up flavours of raspberry cream, thick vanilla custard, peppery spice, cloves, nutmeg, cedarwood, caramelized bananas, chocolate, espresso, orange and lemon peel, cardamom and rum soaked cherries. A dry and complex profile.
Truly excellent value for a rum of this age and quality, this is perfect for slow sipping.
