A revival of a historic Bourbon brand, named (of course) after the world famous National Park and supervolcano, Yellowstone.
This Bourbon brand was first established in the 1880s by J. B. Dant, D. H. Taylor and J. T. Williams, some of the biggest names in Bourbon history. After a mixed history, including the closure of the original distillery in the 1990s by Diageo’s forebears, U.D.V., the brand was restored in 2015 by Paul and Steve Beam (yes, the same Beams). It was their great-grandfather, Minor Case Beam, who first sold the distillery. The whiskey is now made at the Limestone Branch distillery in Lebanon, Kentucky.
A high quality Bourbon, which marries together smoky, sweet and spicier spirits for a well balanced whiskey. Yellowstone Select serves up flavours of charred oak, mint, toffee, nutmeg, vanilla, dried fruits, plums, almond, sweet corn and cut grass.
Bottled at 46.5% ABV, this is a whiskey with a warming profile and medium mouthfeel.
