Wathen’s Kentucky Bourbon is a product of 8 generations of distilling expertise, going back more than 250 years. The people continuing this proud family tradition are Charles W. Medley and his Son Samuel Wathen Medley. They produce their bourbon from a traditional mash of corn, rye, and barley, which is then distilled in traditional copper stills, and finally filled in to charred, American white oak barrels, where it is left to mature until it is bottled from just a single barrel at a healthy strength of 47%. A most excellent bourbon!
